Welcome to the quaint, picturesque village of Yungaburra. It is located in the heart of the Tablelands and is only one hour from Cairns.

Walk the historic Old Town Loop. Check out the renowned Lake Eacham Hotel and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Originally inhabited by at least 16 different indigenous tribes,. Yungaburra became a stopover for miners and, ultimately, a European settlement. It was officially established in 1910. Many of Yungaburra’s heritage-listed buildings from those early years remain, for the most part, unchanged.
