Waterfalls and Wildlife Spotting

The Cairns region has thousands of visitors per year. Most will visit the Great Barrier Reef, however, relatively few will discover the Atherton Tablelands region. Boasting magnificent waterfalls and teaming with wildlife. The Waterfalls and Wildlife Spotting package will show you the very best this incredible region has to offer.

Although these tours depart from Cairns, if you’re staying on the Tablelands, we can arrange pickups for you.

Atherton Tablelands Waterfalls Tour

Jump aboard Gus the Wonder Bus! Meanwhile, Uncle Brian will take you in his fun and friendly way on a day of adventures in our natural world.  We’ll visit ancient Rainforests and the beauty of the Atherton Tablelands Waterfall Tour.

We’ll be walking and talking, swimming, rock sliding, singing in waterfalls, in addition to floating in a volcanic crater lake. Before an exciting and fun journey home!

We look forward to welcoming you into our family and sharing fun times. You’ll love the Waterfalls and Wildlife Spotting Tour and Gus the Wonder Bus SO much, and you’ll want to book a tour to the Daintree Rainforest as well!

Rainforest Night Tour

To experience the sights and sounds of the rainforest at night is truly something special. The Rainforest Night Tour takes you on a journey through the Atherton Tablelands rainforest as it comes alive at night. With a small group in addition to an excellent guide. Above all, you will experience this unique wildlife environment that few others get the chance to see.

About 80% of Australia’s wildlife is more active from dusk through to nighttime. As a result, the Rainforest Night Tour starts in the early afternoon. We use spotlights in the dark to capture our unique animals up in the rainforest canopy.

Your informative guide will show you some of the world’s most unusual animals. For example the mysterious platypus, tree kangaroos, possums, gliders, bats, bandicoots, echidnas, snakes, frogs and many others.

On the Rainforest Night Tour, you will learn all about the tropical rainforest. We want to educate our guests about the Wet Tropics and the importance of preserving this incredible ecosystem. Secondly, how local Aboriginal tribes use the vegetation to make tools and to heal and make remedies.
